Patricia J West passed away peaceful at Desert Highland on September 16, 2015. She was born in Redondo Beach, CA, to Robert and Patricia Kissack. She married the love of her life, Joseph F West, on February 15, 1972. They had their daughter Kristin J. West in January 0f 1976. She as a telecommunication manager for the Long Beach press-Telegram where she installed one of the first voicemail systems in the US. She moved from California to Colorado in 1990 and ran the Collbran General Store with her husband. In 1994 she moved to Kingman and ran the Sub Base on Northern Ave. She was able to help her community with the work she did while she was employed with Mohave County. She retired from the Mohave County in 2008. After her retirement, she traveled the country with her husband. She loved the outdoors. Camping was her favorite activity and she enjoyed it her whole life. She was an avid reader, loved to go for drives to see new places and was an animal lover. She is survived by her husband, Joseph West of Kingman; daughter Kristin West of Glenwood Springs, Colorado and her son-in-law Donnie Gonzales; her grandson Sebastian West-Gonzales; great grandchildren; and sister Kathy Kissack of California.
