Obituary of Thomas Joseph Gillespie

Thomas Joseph Gillespie passed away in Kingman, AZ on February 29, 2016. Thomas is lovingly remembered by his sister Kathleen Adelaine of Harbor Springs, MI, a Niece and 2 Nephews. Thomas was born in Delray, MI on May 23, 1943, to Frank and Eva Gillespie. He graduated from Allen Park High School in 1963 and went on to attend Eastern and Bowling Green Universities. Thomas served in the United States Army, during the Korean War. He also played for the Junior Redwing Division in Detroit as a goalie. Thomas had a love of tennis, photography and owned several business, which included sporting goods, newspaper, graphic design and he excelled in them all. He ended his employment, retiring from the National Park Service-Scotty's Castle, in Death Valley. Funeral arrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
