Wesley A. Mularz, 79, passed away on Monday, June 25, 2007 at his home in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born on January 6, 1928 in Przemykowic, Poland.Wes was the youngest of three boys. His family were farmers in this small village and during the occupation by the Germans his father was living in the United States and working to expand their farm before he returned to Poland. One brother was active in the underground and his other brother was seized and sent to a concentration camp. Wes, as a young boy was used as a courier.Wes came to the United States with his mother, after the liberation of Poland from Germany, leaving behind everything they owned. He was naturalized in Chicago, and after serving in the U.S. Army, during the Korean War, he moved to Manhattan Beach, CA. Wes married Rose Borowski in 1951 and they had two sons, Wayne Mularz (Cindy), Russ Mularz; a daughter, Renee Stevens (Mike), and five grandsons, all living in the Los Angeles Area. His wife died in 1995 and he later moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ. In 1998 he married Donna Murray and expanded his family to seven children, thirteen grandchildren and one great grandchild. The family grew and so did the fun. Wes was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church and the B.P.O. Elks Lodge #2399.Wes had a real zest for life and was loved by many people. In his eyes, his cup was always at least half full and more often, filled to the brim. He was a man to be admired.A Scripture service will be held at Lietz-Fraze Chapel on Sunday, July 8, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. Military honors will be presented by the V.F.W. Post #9401 and American Legion Post #81.In lieu of flowers, his family request donations be made in his name to Hospice of Havasu, P.O.
