Obituary of Eva MASON

Eva Marie Mason, 42, passed away June 26, 2007 in Seligman, AZ. She was born On October 28, 1964 in Globe, AZ.Eva graduated high school from Apache Junction High School in 1982; was a student at Tri City Christian Academy in Tempe, AZ in 1981; attended Apollo College earning her Medical Assistant certification in 1983; earned her Associate Arts of Science degree from Scottsdale Community College in 1994 and attended Arizona State University earning her Bachelor of Science and Food Service Manager degrees in 1997.Eva married her best friend Rev. Lyndon Mason on December 27, 1983 and together they made Lake Havasu their home 6 years ago. For the past year, she worked for Lake Havasu Unified School District as a teacher. Eva was the perfect helpmate. She loved to sew. She was an advocate for Compassion International. Eva was a loyal supporter to her husband in all phases of ministry. She always tried to lift people up when they were down. Eva was an angel to many people.Eva leaves behind her beloved husband of 23 years, Rev. Lyndon Mason; sons, Lynn and Nathaniel Mason; daughter, Lelah Mason; father, Merced Rivera; brother, Benjamin Rivera and sister, Rosalee (Christopher) Eles.She was preceded in death by her mother, Angelina Rivera and sister, Marcella Arnet.A visitation will take place on Friday, July 6, 2007 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Lietz-Fraze Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 7, 2007, 11:00 AM at St. Michael's United Methodist Church. Words of comfort and inspiration will be presented by Minerva G.
