Obituary of Olive SHATTUCK

Olive Louisa (Uhl) Shattuck, 91, was taken home to be with the Lord on July 3, 2007. Olive was born to Isadore and Angie (Musser) Uhl on December 5, 1915 in Mapleton, IA. She married Richard Shattuck on January 16, 1934. She married Charles Anderson January 6, 1988.Olive was a hairdresser and owned for years her own beauty shop in Smithland, IA. She loved to dance, sew and loved small babies. She once won a recipe contest with a recipe she had just written down and never actually tried.Olive was preceded in death by her first husband, Richard; an infant son, Loyde; her parents; two brothers; a young sister and grandson, Robert.She is survived by her husband, Charles Anderson of Lake Havasu City; daughters, Patricia (Rex) Woodward of Lake Havasu City, Kay (Johnnie) Hollowell of Hugo, CO; sons, Wayne (Carol) Shattuck of Tampa, FL, Greg (Karen) Shattuck of Tampa, FL; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.A visitation will be held Sunday, July 8, 2007 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM with a Rosary at 7:00 PM at Lietz-Fraze Chapel. Funeral services will be held Monday, July 9, 2007, 12:00 PM at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church.
