Obituary of Anastasia VELKY

Anastasia "Stacey" Velky, 76, passed away on July 14, 2007 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was born on September 29, 1930 in San Gabriel, CA; to John and Anna Carnot.Stacey graduated from Alhambra High School. She retired in 1995 from Social Security in Glendale, CA; after 20 years. Stacey suffered a severe stroke in October of 1996. She had several set backs through the years, but she always fought to come back and never complained. Stacey had an uplifting personality and was always very cheerful and thoughtful. She has been and is our guardian angel. Stacey has always put her family before herself. She is loved by her family and friends and she will be greatly missed. We will always cherish her with loving memories and thoughts. Stacey left us after a very short illness and is finally at peace. We are very thankful to have had her in our lives. "Mom we'll always love you…"Stacey is survived her sons, John and Larry, daughter Joanna; brother, Laddie, four grandsons; four granddaughters and four great grandsons. She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers William and Jerry Carnot; daughters Lynda and Cynthia Velley and one son Edward Velky.
