Obituary of Benjamin MCGINLEY

Benjamin Ernest McGinley, 82, passed away July 23, 2007 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born to Arthur and Elizabeth (Doss) McGinley on May 21, 1925 in Syracuse, NY.Ben served his country proudly under the direction of the United States Army during World War II. Following the service he married his best friend Margaret Clune and together they made Lake Havasu their home 21 years ago from Oswego, NY. He worked for the Nestle Co. in Fulton, NY as a Supervisor for 44 years.Ben was a member of the Eagles Aerie #4299 and the Lake Havasu Sportsman's Club. Ben enjoyed hunting while they lived in upstate New York and he was also an avid golfer.Ben leaves behind his beloved wife of 61 years, Margaret McGinley of Lake Havasu; sons, Richard McGinley of San Antonio, TX and Larry McGinley of Fulton, NY; daughters, Lorraine Santoro of Fulton, NY, Joan Molinari of Oswego, NY, Mary Anne Delcour of Penn Yan, NY and Barbara Butler of Phoenix, NY; brother, Ronald McGinley of Phoenix, NY; sisters, Bernice Whipple of Phoenix, NY and Gail Denery of Fulton, NY; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.A scripture service will be held Monday, July 30, 2007, 11:00 AM at Lietz-Fraze Chapel. Words of comfort and inspiration will be presented by Deacon Gil Lopez.
