Obituary of John JOHNSON

John Herbert Johnson, 73, passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2007 at his home in Lake Havasu City, AZ with his loving family by his side. He was born on August 31, 1933 in Oklahoma City, OK to Oscar and Mary C. (Trotter) Johnson.John moved to Lake Havasu 17 years ago from Rancho Cucamonga, CA. He owned and operated CC Action Wear clothing store in Lake Havasu for 10 years. John was an avid gold panner, a passion he enjoyed sharing with his sons and grandson.John is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Jimmie Anne Johnson; sons, Dale Grace and John Johnson, both of Lake Havasu; daughters, Phyllis Smith of Lake Havasu and Diane Grace of Santa Paula, CA; brother, William Howard Benson of Norco, CA; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.A memorial service will be held at Lietz-Fraze Chapel on Friday, July 27, 2007 at 1:00 pm.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in John's name to Hospice of Havasu, PO Box 597, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86405.Thoughts and condolences may be submitted to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.comArrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
