Obituary of Kenneth HOELZEL

Kenneth James Hoelzel passed away August 2, 2007. He joins his wife, Patricia Hoelzel who passed away last year.Ken was born May 29, 1935 in Cleveland, OH. He grew up in Los Angeles with his parents, Fred and Helen. He graduated from Inglewood High School, attended El Camino College and served in the United States Army.Ken owned and managed Azure Swimming Pool Service in Los Angeles for more than 35 years. He shared a home in Westchester, CA with Pat, who he was married to for 35 years. They retired and moved to Lake Havasu in 2001 where they became permanent residents.Ken was happiest spending time with his wife and family, landscaping, doing home improvements and collecting cars. He had many life-long friends and will be missed by all.He is survived by daughter, Dana Russell; son-in-law, Ken Russell; grandson, Kenneth Robert Russell all of Los Angeles; daughter Tracy Hoelzel and her fiancé Matthew Gideon, both of Long Beach and several cousins and friends in California and Lake Havasu.In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Pat Hoelzel's honor to Hospice of Havasu, PO Box 597, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86405.Thoughts and condolences may be submitted to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.comArrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
