Ernest Natale Marcurio, 72, passed away August 14, 2007 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born to Natale and Consulata (Soliss) Marcurio on August 20, 1934 in Paterson, NJ.Ernest married his best friend Mary Foresta on September 14, 1957 and together they made Lake Havasu their home 5 years ago from Hull, MA. He served his country proudly under the direction of the United States Navy during the Korean and Vietnam War. After 35 years, Ernest retired from the Navy and went on to get his master's degree from Boston University and then graduated in 1984. He was self employed as a electrician for many years in Hull, MA.Ernest leaves behind his beloved wife Mary Marcurio of Lake Havasu; son, Ernest P. Marcurio of Quartzsite, AZ; daughters, Denise McNally of Connecticut and Ginine Cordova of Massachusetts; brother, Salvatore Marcurio of Florida; sisters, Jean Marcurio and Minnie Virgilio, both of New York, Natalie Ostertag of New Jersey; eight grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his brother Joe and sister, Armenia.Thoughts and condolences may be submitted to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.comArrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
