Charles "Chuck" C. Howell, Jr. passed away on August 19, 2007. He was on born May 30, 1934 in Detroit, Michigan. He and his wife, Mary Jo who he fondly referred to as "boss lady", of 39 years retired from General Motors Corporation and moved to Lake Havasu in 1987. He was the father of Charles C. Howell, III, wife Deanna, Richard L. Howell, wife Karen as well as a father to one step-son, Dr. Ronald B. Tripp; step-daughter, Candice S. Bray, husband Gerald. A brother to Dorothy M. Sheridan of Dayton, Ohio and preceded in death by sister Edith R. Seibert of San Jose, California. He was "Grandpa Charlie" to (6) granddaughters, (1) grandson and (2) great¬grandsons.Chuck served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the American Legion, Post #81, Lake Havasu, and Commander of the Post 1991-1997. He was also a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks, Havasu Masonic Lodge #64, Lake Havasu Shrine Club, Scottish Rite of Free Masonary S. J. USA and previous years was a member of the International Footprint Association. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.Services to be held at the Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, August 22, 2007. The Masonic Lodge #64F&AM will officiate. Full military honors will be presented by the VFW Post 9401 and the American Legion Post 81. Interment will follow the services at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens.In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to Hospice of Havasu, P. O. Box 597, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86405.
