Obituary of Susan RYEN

Susan L. Ryen, 64, passed away on Tuesday, August 21, 2007 in Phoenix, AZ. She was born on June 8, 1943 in Des Moines, IA; to Robert Moss and Margaret (Pothoff) Madden.Susan moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; 20 years ago from Des Moines, IA. She worked as a bookkeeper for the family business, Ryen Homes, in Des Moines, IA; for 35 years. Susan loved flowers and always had a fresh bouquet in her home. She enjoyed boating and going to the ocean, Laughlin and Las Vegas, NV. Susan was very adventurous, liked to travel and never sat for very long. She loved going to the park and spending time with her grandkids. Her hobbies were gardening, playing Scrabble and being with her family and friends whenever possible. She will always be remembered as a kind and loving angel on earth.Susan is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Herb D. Ryen, daughters, Christine Mills and Shelley Mills both of Lake Havasu City, AZ; brother Robert Madden of Des Moines, IA; sister Linda Madden of Lake Havasu City, AZ. and grandkids, Dustin Ryen Mills, Alexander Jason Mills, Ashley Sara Mills, Jasmin Viola Mills and Jacob Ryen Mills.A visitation will be held at Lietz-Fraze Chapel on Sunday, August 26, 2007 from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at St. Michael's United Methodist Church on Monday, August 27, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. Words of wisdom and inspirations will be expressed by Minister Don Burlock.
