JoAnn and Family.
Steve hasn't been in my life as long as my Friend JoAnn but never the less he always had a story to share.
He loved life with peace of mind. Our visits short,, his journeys always interesting. His love for Family strong.
I'm sure you will have stories to share. I know that in honoring his presence, there will be a place for him in your hearts. Keep his memories alive and be greatful for what he's given you. Be blessed for his is in the Kingdom of God.
Rest in peace.

Steve was always such a sweet guy! He would frequently stop by our department window at work and tell us a funny story or a little joke and keep us smiling throughout the day. Such a kind person to be around! He is going to be missed!!

He was a friend, a mentor, & was my "go-to guy". My strength & courage to move forward this last week has come from him. He's still with me, I just have to be quiet & listen a little harder now.

What a storyteller! Loved to listen to him and his brothers spin yarns. It was obvious he loved his family so much and I was so glad we reconnected in the last few years. We will not be able to attend the celebration but know that we will be with you all in spirit. Go rest high on that mountain, for your work on earth is done. Bonnie anderson

Steve was a man unlike any other. Kind compassionate and caring. Always there when you needed someone to talk to. Always gave the best advice and constructive criticism. I remember writing to him often when he was in the service, he helped me through many teenage issues. He was more like a best friend then an Uncle. My hearts breaks that he's gone, but I'm glad he's no longer suffering. With all my love and deepest sympathy to the entire family. Love you always and forever. Shelly Yeats

I am so very sorry to hear that Steve is gone! I worked with him at Havasupai back in the day and we had a lot of good conversations over the years. Then I caught back up with him when he worked at the High School. He was a real nice person and although I haven't seen him in awhile, I will miss that he's not "here". I know he is safe and sound and doing great. My prayers are with his family. Susan Schendel
