Oran Aaron Cox, 79, passed away on Friday, August 24, 2007 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born on July 16, 1928 in Pampa, TX; to Vern A. and Jewel (Coffman) Cox.Oran moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; 19 years ago from Bloomington, CA. He worked as an operating engineer for S.E. Pipeline in California for 40 years. Oran proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy, Seabees during the Korean War. He was a member of the V.F.W. Post #9401 and a member of the Operating Engineers. Oran enjoyed fishing, camping, boating, horse trading and dancing. He also loved spending time with family and friends.Oran is survived by his sons, Richard Cox of Apple Valley, CA; Aaron Cox of Arizona, his significant other, Delores McClain of Lake Havasu City, AZ; brother, Elton Cox of Channelview, TX; sisters, Edith Tullar of Channelview, TX; Avon Childers of Houston, TX; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Dana S.
