Mary Louise Schneller, 79, passed away August 26, 2007 in Phoenix, AZ. She was born to Charles and Matte (Schaeflein) McAtee on September 22, 1927 in Chicago, IL.Mary married her best friend George Schneller on October 10, 1959 and together they made Lake Havasu their home 12 years ago from Hacienda Heights, CA. After more than 50 years of working as a secretary, Mary decided it was time to retire. She was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church, Unisource Paper and Chicago Northwestern Indiana Railroad. Mary enjoyed laying by the pool and playing with her cat.Mary leaves behind her beloved husband of almost 48 years, George; son, Christian Joseph Sonne of Chicago, IL; daughter, Julie Brennand of Palm Desert, CA; two grandchildren, Alex and Kelly and one great grandson, Benjamin.A memorial mass will be held Saturday, September 15, 2007, 12:30 PM at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church. Father Fidelis Igwenwanne will officiate.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary's name to Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church, 1975 Daytona Ave., Lake Havasu City, AZ 86403.Thoughts and condolences may be submitted to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.comArrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
