Obituary of Flavious Lethredge Hamer

Flavious Lethridge Hamer Jr aka "Bud" '76 of Dolan/Kingman passed away 9/22/15 with family by his side. Bud was born in Kingsville TX. May 25, 1939 to Flavious Sr & Daisy Hamer, became a big brother to Archie Hamer soon after. In 1954 Bud married Phyllis & had Mike, Vickie, Patricia & Bill. In 1964 he married Cecelia & had Flavious III, Angie, Melissa, Justin & Jeremiah. He was blessed with 20 Grand children & 13 great- grand children (not to mention the numerous adopted children & grandchildren). Bud was a carpenter by trade, loved to work with his hands. He enjoyed reading, watching westerns and spending as much time with his family as he possibly could. Bud was proof that no matter how down on your luck you can get, how many obstacles are put in your path or how rocky life becomes, with the love of family and lots of hard work you can overcome ANYTHING. Bud was preceded in death by both his parents, Brother Archie, Son Mike & the love of his life Cecilia. He was loved by many and will truly be missed by all. Arrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
