Robert F. Shugert, 68, passed away peacefully Friday, August 31, 2007 at his home in Lake Havasu City. He was born to Fred and Ethel (Keppel) Shugert on October 24, 1939 in Rushville, IN.Robert re-married Miriam Alexander on November 6, 2000 after many years of being divorced. They made Lake Havasu City their home.He was in construction work all his life as a project superintendent, building the Del Tacos and several homes in Lake Havasu for Affinity Homes. He and Miriam also ran Shugert Construction Co. in Indiana.Robert loved to fish, watch John Wayne movies, tease his neighbor, Lewis and enjoyed his patio. He and Miriam loved taking their boat out for a day of fishing and relaxation.Robert is survived by his wife, Miriam; son, James (Joy); his grandson, Kevin (Mary); his brother, Ora "Sonny" (Pat) Shugert; his sister, Emma Haehl; granddaughter, Jennifer; two great grandsons; his beloved niece, Tammy; several nieces and nephews and his beloved dogs, Pete and Pandy.Private family services will be held.
