Obituary of Edward VOIGT

Edward Lloyd Voigt, 73, passed away September 6, 2007 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born to John and Anna (Macholz) Voigt on April 4, 1934 in Buffalo, NY.Edward married his soul mate Arlene Murawski on May 14, 1955 and together they made Lake Havasu their home 14 years ago from San Jose, CA. He proudly served under the direction of the United States Navy. Edward worked for AT&T in San Jose for 35 years as a technician.Edward was a member of the American Legion, VFW and the Eagles. He liked working with his hands; tinkering, wood working and fixing things around the house. He was a master handyman.Edward leaves behind his beloved wife of 52 years Arlene Voigt of Lake Havasu; sons, Kenneth Voigt, Russell Voigt, Brian (Jeannette) Voigt, all of San Jose, CA and Mark Voigt of Temecula, CA; sister, Mildred Blacker of Buffalo, NY; one grandchild, Tara Marie Voigt and his girls, Rhoda and Shana.A scripture services will be held Sunday, September 9, 2007, 2:00 PM, beginning with a Rosary at Lietz-Fraze Chapel. Deacon Patrick Toilolo will officiate.In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made in Edward's name to Wegener's Disease Vasculitis Foundation, P.O.
