Obituary of Nora PROUTY

Nora L. Prouty, 83, passed away September 28, 2007 in Las Vegas, NV. She was born to Andrew and Ester (Powers) Simpson on November 5, 1923. Nora married Ellis Prouty on May 13, 1965 and together they made Lake Havasu their home in March, 1973 from Allegan, MI. She worked for the McCulloch Corp. as a machinist for 5 years.Nora leaves behind her beloved husband of 42 years, Ellis Prouty of Lake Havasu; daughter, L. Jean Green of Grand Junction, CO; brother Jack Simpson of Sparks, NV; ten grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.Nora was preceded in death by three sons, Ken Comai, Dennis Comai and Peter Comai.At Nora's request, there will be no services. Cremation will take place.Memorial contributions can be made to the Heart Association of Lake Havasu, PO Box 1410, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86405.Thoughts and condolences may be submitted to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.comArrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
