Obituary of Ronald STROCK

Ronald J. Strock. 67, passed away on Saturday, September 29, 2007. He was born on January 10, 1940 in Chicago, IL; to William and Rose Strock.Upon graduating from high school, Ron began working in the air conditioning field. After one year, Ron enlisted in the U.S. Army, proudly serving his country for 3 years. After receiving his honorable discharge, Ron continued his career in air conditioning, a career that would span 44 years, retiring as foreman with Edwards Engineering.In 2004, Ron and his wife Hazel moved from Hickory Hills, IL; and made Lake Havasu City, AZ; their home. Ron and Hazel enjoyed traveling all over in their fifth wheel and the occasional trips to the casinos in Laughlin, NV. Ron also enjoyed exploring the desert trails in his jeep. He was also a member of the Elks Lodge #2399 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. Ron is survived by his wife of 43 years, Hazel, sons Wesley Strock of Chicago, IL; Ronald L. Strock of Florida; daughter Charlotte Sniadecki of North Liberty, IN; brother Bill Strock of Chicago, IL; ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Ron was preceded in death by his daughter, Cindy Lee Strock and his sister, Rose.At Ron's request, no services will be held.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Ron's name to the Leukemia Lymphoma Society.
