Norman Arthur Ranik passed away on Monday May 2, 2011 in Lake Havasu City at the age of 81. Norman was born on December 23, 1929 in Sunbury, Pennsylvania to Otto and Helen Ranik.Norman served in the US Army during the Korean War as an infantryman. He most recently worked or the For Motor Company as an assemblyman prior to moving to Lake Havasu City 18 years ago. Norman was a member of the Eagles and Elks Lodge 2399 of Lake Havasu City.Norman is survived by his stepson Bob Muravez and his wife Sharon, grandsons Michael Muravez and Peter Muravez, nephews Kenny Redland, Robert Redland, Ray Redland, Jerry Redland, Timmy Redland, Michael Hoffbauer, Jeff Hoffbauer and special friends Jo Beauchamp and Gladys Derochie. He was preceded in death by his first wife Edith who passed away in 1983, second wife Florence who passed away in 2007, brother Edward Ranik and sisters Loretta Redlin and Harriett Hoffbauer.Rosary will begin at 10:45 followed by the Memorial Mass on Wednesday May 11, 2011 at Our Lady of The Lake Roman Catholic Church.
