Obituary of Roland FURLANO

Roland V. FurlanoMay 31, 1930 - October 6, 2007Roland passed away Friday night, in his sleep at the age of 77, after a short fight with cancer. He was born and raised in Los Angeles.Roland enlisted in the United States Navy. He was a welder in the aircraft business for 30 some years. He met his second wife, Louanne and married September 17, 1981. They lived in Pine Mountain Club, CA. He got out of the aircraft business and opened up an Italian Restaurant in 1984. Roland loved to cook. He retired and moved to Lake Havasu City in 1990 where they raised their daughter and son.Roland is survived by his wife of 27 years Louanne Furlano of Lake Havasu City, AZ; daughter Anna Howard of Lake Havasu; son Vito Furlano of Garden Grove, CA; brothers Luke Furlano of Silmar, CA and Richard Furlano of Hawaiian Gardens, CA and his two granddaughters, his pride and joy, Audrey Howard and Grace Howard.A memorial mass will be held Friday, October 26, 2007, 11:00 AM at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church. Following the services there will be a gathering at Rotary Park.
