DOROTHY M. WHITTIERDorothy M. (Morgan) Whittier, age 90, peacefully died on October 25, at her Lake Havasu City apartment.She was born August 9, 1917, in Eastern Oregon, and was raised near the town of Moro, Oregon. She married Charles Whittier on July 10, 1937, and moved to Spokane, WA in 1941, where they resided for almost 62 years. She was an active member of the North Hill Christian Church in Spokane for 50 years, and participated continuously with the various church service groups.Dorothy loved to travel, and she and Charles toured the Western United States extensively, and were winter visitors at Apache Junction, AZ for 22 years. After her husband died in 1999,she moved to Lake Havasu City and lived with her daughter Judiand husband Fred.Dorothy was the last surviving member of her family, and was preceded in death by her parents William and Opha Morgan, four brothers, one sister, husband Charles, one grandson, and one daughter-in-law. She is survived by her three children James of Steilacoom, WA, Arthur, of Spokane, WA, and Judi (Fred) Nolden of Lake Havasu City; six grandchildren, eight great¬ grandchildren, and one great-great granddaughter.A memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on November 3, at Community Presbyterian Church at 3450 Chemehuevi Blvd. Internment will be at a later date in Spokane.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are requested to Hospice of Havasu, P.O.
