Obituary of Loren Awald Heinz

Loren Awald Heinz June 25, 1938 - Nov. 15, 2013 Loren A. Heinz passed away at home, with his wife Donna, Nov. 15, in Lake Havasu City at the age of 75. He was born in Hastings, Minn. June 25, 1938. He was a firefighter in San Diego, Calif. He and his wife of 53 years raised their three children. They spent many years traveling the United States in the camper that he had proudly built himself. Loren and Donna moved to Lake Havasu City in 2001 and were the first employees at the new Home Depot that year. They both worked there till they retired. Loren was always known as a handyman, helping friends, family and neighbors with just about anything. Loren is survived by his wife Donna of Lake Havasu City; his daughter, Jill Osgood of Lake Havasu City; sons, Jerry Heinz of San Diego, Calif. and Johnny Heinz of Lake Havasu City; his granddaughter, Kristin Villegas and great grandson Brody Villegas of San Diego, Calif.; grandson Cory Osgood of Golden Valley and grandkids Tyler, Connor, Katie and Cameron Heinz of San Diego, Calif. He will be missed by her brothers and sister and many friends. A Celebration of Life will take place the first week of December with family and friends.
