Doris Eleanor Layton passed away November 8, 2007 in Lake Havasu City, AZ at the age of 84. She was born to Joseph and Maude (Chipman) Burns on October 29, 1923 in Boston, MA.Doris married Willis Layton in May of 1942 and together they made Arizona home their home 50 years ago from Boston. They moved to Lake Havasu 17 years ago. Doris will always be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be dearly missed.Doris is survived by her beloved family, Willis M. Layton Jr.; daughters, Doris C. Mhyre, Donna M. Duron and Linda J. Di Piano, all of Lake Havasu; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.A visitation will be held Saturday, November 17, 2007, from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at Lietz-Fraze Chapel. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 17, 2007, 2:00 PM at Mount Olive Lutheran Church. Words of comfort and inspiration will be presented by Pastor Greg Mannel. Interment will follow the services at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens.Thoughts and condolences may be submitted to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.comArrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
