Obituary of Michael SMITH

Michael Arden Smith, 45, died Saturday, November 10, 2007 in Lake Havasu City, AZ while riding in his bright orange rail in Standard Wash. He was born July 8, 1962 in Colby, Kansas.Mike married Leigh Anne Shetler-Smith on January 18, 1992 and moved to LHC in 2004 from Aliso Viejo, CA. Mike enjoyed boating on the lake; coaching girl's softball; jeeping in the desert; cooking a great steak on the barbeque and spending time with his family and friends.Mike leaves behind his father, Arden Smith; his brother, Rick Smith and his wife and daughter, Leigh Anne and Mykaela. He was preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn Ann Runnells.Memorial services will be held on Friday, November 16 at 4:00pm at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life to follow at the clubhouse in the Lake Ridge Estates.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mike's name to the Lake Havasu DARE Program and Lake Havasu ASA Softball Association.Thoughts and condolences may be submitted to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.comArrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
