Obituary of Ellen Centorrino

Ellen Centorrino passed unexpectedly Sunday March 13, 2016. Ellen was a caring woman who made friends wherever she went. She lived a full life and brought her enthusiasm with her when she moved two years ago from New York to Lake Havasu City after her husband Carmine passed away. Ellen loved being in Arizona, enjoying the mountains and scenery as well as her sister, late brother-in-law, nephews, nieces and all the new friends she was making. Her adventurous spirit took her by train across the country a number of times to visit her children who live from east to west. Ellen was a frequent winner at the local casino and often spoke of her love of the ferry boat ride across the lake. She expressed her creativity with her "Candy Treats" and other crotchet and crafts. Ellen was a very kind and generous person. She was a long time parishioner at St. Boniface Church of New York as well Our Lady of the Lake here in Havasu. She was also a member of the Catholic Daughters of America. She leaves behind her four children; Laura, Linda, Anthony and Lisa, their spouses, three granddaughters, her sister Rita and many other family and friends who will miss her dearly. A memorial service will be held at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at 3:00 pm. Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
