Obituary of W. BREAKENRIDGE

W. Warren "Punch" Breakenridge, 91, passed away on Monday, January 7, 2008 at Lake Hills Inn after a short illness. Punch was born August 10, 1916 in Dinsdale, IA to W.J. and S. Edith (McMillan) Breakenridge.He was a retired cattle feeder and grain farmer. Punch and his wife Gloria have spent the last 22 years wintering in Lake Havasu City and spent their summers in Reinbeck, IA.Punch is survived by his wife of 51 years, Gloria; son, Scott (Judy) Breakenridge of Hudson, IA; daughters, Judy Risk of Palm Desert, CA, Donna (Randy) Evenson of Reinbeck, IA, Jennifer Breakenridge of University Park, IA, Susan O'Donnell of Whitehouse Station, NJ, Peggy (Terry) Finzen of Dysart, IA and Penny (David) Gordon of Des Moines, IA; sister, Lois Gallagher of Anaheim, CA; 19 grandchildren andf 35 great grandchildren.He was preceded in death by daughter, Rebecca Mitchell, his parents, brothers, Max and Wallace and sister Doris who died in infancy.Memorial services will be held Saturday, January 12, 2008 at 2:00 pm at Community Presbyterian Church and 3450 Chemehuevi Blvd. Words of comfort and assurance will be offered by Rev.
