Charles Edward Fox passed away January 27, 2008 in Kingman, AZ at the age of 70. He was born to Joseph and Maryellen (Purcell) Fox on December 20, 1937 in Bloomington, IN.Charlie married Jeanette "Sue" Chandler on August 17, 1957 and together they made Lake Havasu their home 3 ½ years ago from Buena Park, CA. He served under the direction of the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict. He worked for Lucus Western as an engineer for 35 years in the aerospace industry. Charlie attended daily "board meetings" at the Moose Lodge. He was also a member of the Elks, Eagles and the American Legion in Lake Havasu and Orange, CA. He enjoyed boating on the lake in his pontoon boat. Charlie had a special zest for life; he was a very likeable person and had many friends, whom he loved to have over for a visit.Charlie leaves behind his beloved wife of 50 years, Sue Fox of Lake Havasu; sons, Chuck Fox of Orange, CA, Mike Fox of Lake Havasu and Ron Fox of Buena Park, CA; daughter, Robin Fox of Anaheim, CA; brothers, Kenny Fox, David Fox and Tommy Fox all of Indianapolis, IN; sisters, Nancy Kriech of Santa Barbara, CA, Linda Roser and Cathy Burns, both of Indianapolis, IN; seven grandchildren, Tina Moore, Scott Fox, Michael Fox, Joe Fox, Phillip Fox, Bethany Fox and Brennan Fox and two great grandchildren, Cash and Gavin Moore.A visitation will be held Friday, February 1, 2008, 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Lietz-Fraze Chapel. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 2, 2008, 1:00 pm at Lietz-Fraze Chapel. Burial will follow the services at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens. Military honors will be presented by the VFW Post 9401 and American Legion Post 81.
