Maybelle Dorothy Shubert, 99, passed away on February 6, 2008 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was born in Cleveland, OH; to Frank and Lillie (Svaboda) Latimer.Maybelle was a pioneer coming, to Lake Havasu City on a McCulloch flight in 1967. She moved here in 1968 from Parma, OH. Maybelle worked in the cafeteria for the Parma Ohio School System for 7 years. She was a member of 2 bridge clubs, the Eastern Star, Young at Heart Chorus, St. Michael's United Methodist Church and was also an active member of the Senior Center.Maybelle is survived by her daughters, Eileen Hallisy Suzanne Hallisy, Barbara Hallisy, 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Shubert.A memorial service will be held at the Masonic Temple on Monday, February 11, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. Words of comfort and inspiration will be expressed by Pastor Lyndon Mason.In lieu of flowers, her family has requested that donations be made in Maybelle's name to the Senior Center, 470 S.
