John L. Freitas Jr. passed away on February 25, 2008 at his home in Lake Havasu City at the age of 78. John was born on April 1, 1929 in Oakland, CA to John L. Freitas Sr. and Olive (Rose) Freitas.John and his wife Gevana moved to Lake Havasu City from San Lorenzo, CA 18 years ago, enabling John to pursue his passion for golf.John is survived by his daughter Victoria Freitas of Las Vegas, NV; son John (Cindy) Freitas of Peoria, AZ, as well as his grandchildren Shaun Freitas, Kristin Freitas, Jamie Freitas, Justin Freitas and Thomas Heath.John's family has asked that no flowers be sent, but friends of John's are invited to join the family at Los Lagos Villa II community pool to celebrate his life on Saturday, March 1, 2008 at 1:00 pm.Thoughts and condolences may be submitted to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.comArrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
