Harold George Fackler passed away March 2, 2008 in Lake Havasu City, AZ at the age of 88. He was born to George and Netti (Schnieder) Fackler on July 19, 1919 in Blair, Neb.Harold served under the direction of the United States Navy during World War II. Harold married Marie Wilford on April 18, 1947 and together they made Lake Havasu their home 30 years ago from Whittier, CA. While residing in California, Harold worked as a truck driver for Oscar Meyer in Los Angeles for 35 years. He was a very hard worker who always had a project to work on. Harold leaves behind his beloved family, two sons, Travis and Jack Fackler; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Marie Fackler on May 30, 2006.A visitation will be held Friday, March 7, 2008, 8:30 to 10:30 AM followed by a funeral service at 10:30 AM at Lietz-Fraze Chapel. Words of comfort and inspiration will be presented by Pastor Lan Blair. Interment will follow the services at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens. The VFW Post 9401 and American Legion Post 81 will conduct full military honors.Donations may be made in Harold's name to Hospice of Havasu, PO Box 597, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86405.Thoughts and condolences may be submitted to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.comArrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
