Obituary of Janet HOOVER

Janet Lee Hoover, 73, passed away March 10, 2008 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was born to Archie and Maurita (Oberg) Shaw on January 29, 1935 in Highland Park, MI. Jan was wed to James (Jim) Clayton Hoover from November 19, 1955 until his passing on September 3, 1973. Jan worked for Jolly Roger Restaurants in Irvine, CA as a computer operator for 30 years. Jan moved to Lake Havasu City in 1982 making it her home, where she has enjoyed the lake, Laughlin, the lottery, and Yahtzee. Jan leaves behind her life long friend to the end, Kurtis Saetre of Lake Havasu; one son Bruce Hoover of Westminster, CA; four daughters Jennifer Boles of Anaheim, CA, Melissa Hardy, Robin Lusk and Julie Farshler, all of Lake Havasu; sister Jane Long of Palo Verde, CA; thirteen grandchildren, Lacy, Jeff, Kimi, Amy, Steven, AJ, Amanda, Clayton, Brian, Nick, Katie, Cody and Bree and two great grandchildren.Mom can finally once again dance barefoot on the beach with Dad, but will be dearly missed by all of those who knew her.Thoughts and condolences may be submitted to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.comArrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
