Obituary of Lester HALLFORD

Lester Lee Hallford Sr., 76, passed away March 11, 2008 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born June 4, 1931 in Yeager, Muscogee County, Oklahoma. He was the son of Joe and Ada Hallford. He was the 15th child out of 16.Lester served in the United States Navy and was also a life long member in the Local 428 Operator Union. He moved to Lake Havasu about 16 years ago, was a member of the Elks Lodge and was a huge participant of the Yacht Club in Lake Havasu. He enjoyed boating water skiing and loved to dance. Lester was a great cook.Lester is survived by his wife Bernice; daughters Kathy Smith and Tammy McCoy of Flagstaff; step son Michael Mathis Hallford of Mesa; brother Berman Hallford of Lake Havasu; grandchildren, Jay, Amanda, Guy, Heath and Tanya of Flagstaff and seven great grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents Joe and Ada; his son Lester Lee Hallford and daughter Rosie Beth Fry.Memorial services will be held Saturday, March 15, 2008, 11:00 AM at Lietz-Fraze Chapel. Words of comfort and inspiration will be presented by Rev.
