Obituary of Michael MANSFIELD

Michael James Mansfield, 61, passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2008 in a tragic dune buggy accident in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born on November 3, 1946 in St. Louis, MO; to Thomas Burke and Mary Frances (Heitkamp) Mansfield.Michael was a professional in the commercial industrial boiler business for over 30 years in Denver, CO. He moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; in 1997 to enjoy his retirement. Michael was a drag boat racer for several years in the IHBA. He loved boating, motorsports, and traveling.Michael was a beloved son, brother, husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Jeanne L. Mansfield; daughters, Angie Mansfield, Holly Cottrell, Jennifer DeMara; his father, Thomas B. Mansfield; grandchildren, Cody, Griffin, Briceson, Meagan and Rayce; brothers, Thomas B. Mansfield Jr., Richard K. Mansfield, Gregory Mansfield, John F. Mansfield, sister Mary Carol Schlessman and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Frances Mansfield; brother, Lawrence H. Mansfield; and grandson, Kindahl James Cottrell.
