Jean Rose Nelson, 76, passed away on Friday, March 14, 2008 in Las Vegas, NV. She was born on September 9, 1932 in Chicago, IL. Her family moved to California in 1948.Jean retired from Lockheed in Burbank, CA; as an Assistant Department Manager and moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; in 1988. She was a member of the Elkette's and enjoyed boating, playing bingo and bowling and loved family gatherings.She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Bud; sister and brother-in-law, Vivian and Al Andros; brother, Roger and sister-in-law Sylvia Baumgartner all of California; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Vonnie and Judy Johnson of Lake Havasu City, AZ; nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Helen Baumgartner.A Scripture services will be held at Lietz-Fraze Chapel on Saturday, March 22, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jean's very special yorkie's name Benji, to the Western Arizona Humane Society, 1100 Empire Dr; Lake Havasu City, AZ; 86404.Condolences and thoughts can be made to her family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.comArrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
