James "Jim" Frank Anderson, 89, passed away on Monday, March 24, 2008 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born on January 13, 1919 in Peggs, OK; to Walter and Matilda Anderson.Jim moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; 30 years ago from Tustin, CA. He owned and operated an auto parts store in Garden Grove, CA; for 35 years. Jim proudly served his country in the U.S. Army, WWII. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting and was a member of the Eagles Aerie 4299 and B.P.O.E. Elks Lodge 2399. Jim loved his family and was known as "a gentleman's gentleman". He will be dearly missed.Jim is survived by his son, Tom Anderson; daughter, Sandy Haselton; brother, Richard Anderson; grandchildren, Scott, Jimmy, Michael, Leta, Sarah, Kyle; and great grandchildren, Peri and Jakob. Jim was preceded in death by his wife, Carmaleta Anderson; son, Jim Anderson; brothers, Walter, Omar and Lee Anderson and sister, Elsie Jarrett.Visitation will be held at Lietz-Fraze Chapel on Thursday, March 27, 2008 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Graveside services and military honors will be held at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, CA; on Monday, March 31, 2008 at 1:00 p.m.Condolences and thoughts can be made to his family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.comArrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
