Adalyn Mae (Carter) Johnson, age 63 of Lake Havasu City, AZ passed away Tuesday morning, March 25, 2008 at Havasu Regional Medical Center Hospital.Adalyn was born December 22, 1944 in Boston, MA. She and her twin were the 3rd and 4th of 7 children born to James and Mary Carter. Adayln grew up in Phoenix, AZ and she and her first husband later moved to Northern California where they lived and raised three children. She moved to Lake Havasu City in the early 1990's, where she enjoyed boating and the beauty of the area.Adalyn loved horses and horseback riding, animals, cooking and entertaining. She had a beautiful spirit and loved of life, people and entertaining friends and loved ones. It was in Lake Havasu City that Adalyn met and married Bill Johnson in 1996. She and Bill often volunteered at events for the American Legion and she was active with the Eagles Lodge.Adalyn was preceded in death by her parents, James and Mary Carter and a brother, James Carter Jr. She is survived by her loving husband, Bill Johnson of Lake Havasu City; her three children, Loretta Fydrych, David Roberts and Alan Roberts, all living in California. She has six grandchildren, Jenene Cordova, Jerry and Jason Fydrych, Orion Roberts, Zed Roberts, Cassidy Roberts and three great grandchildren, Emily and Hanah Cordova and Justin Fydrych. Adalyn has five surviving siblings, Roberta Crabtree of Mesa, AZ, Janet Shainkawa of Las Vegas, NV, Priscilla Mier of Las Vegas, NV, Paul Carter of Tucson, AZ and her twin sister Evelyn Green of Austin, TX.Memorial services to celebrate her life will be held Saturday, April 5, 2008, 2:30 PM at Lietz-Fraze Chapel, 21 Riviera Blvd., Lake Havasu City, AZ, (928) 855-4949.Thoughts and condolences may be submitted to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.comArrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
