Obituary of Helen YARBER

Helen Marlene Yarber, 72, passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2008 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was born on October 22, 1935 in Lancaster, SC; to Thomas and Lila (Smith) Broach.Helen moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; 4 years ago from Little Rock, AR. She worked as a caregiver for Pathfinders in Little Rock, AR; for 12 years. Before that, she was a restaurant owner in Chicago, IL. Helen loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren immensely. She was a great animal lover and even once babysat for her grandson's pet rat. Helen loved shopping. She was a strong woman, who knew what she wanted. Helen spent her last 3 years at Lake Hills Inn, where she felt so comfortable, she called it home.She is survived by her loving daughter, Linda Keohane and husband Harold of Lake Havasu City, AZ; brother, Robert Broach and wife Paulette; sister, Joyce Adams and husband James; grandchildren, David, Scott, Brian, Melinda; and great grandchildren, Brian Jr., Seamus, Liam, Chance, Megan and also many loved nieces and nephews.Visitation will be held at Lietz-Fraze Chapel on Tuesday, April 8, 2008 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Funeral services will follow at Lietz-Fraze Chapel.
