Obituary of Robert Francis Green

ROBERT FRANCIS GREEN Robert Francis Green passed away with dignity and peacefully in his home with his loving wife, Elizabeth, by his side on Monday, November 25, 2013. He was Son of Leonard Francis Green; Louis (Tarr) Green and brother to William (Bill) Green. Robert was born December 6, 1930 in Pocatello, Idaho he passed away suddenly from stage 4 lung cancer. Known as Bob he served in the United States Army and fought in the Korean War which awarded him a purple heart and honorable discharge in 1951. Bob lived a productive life, owning several businesses and was a truck driver for 26 years in which he retired from. He married several times having four biological children and eight step-children that he loved and cared for. Bob is remembered by his kind and caring nature, always there to help out someone in need. "The Office", was one of his favorite places to go and visit with many friends and bartenders. He often told captivating stories of his past to his wife, Elizabeth, whom he had a special relationship with, like no other. Bob also enjoyed his grandchildren and often asked his wife, "When are they coming over?" as he would watch them all play together he would later express how happy and good he felt to be a part of something so beautiful. I will always love you forever my beautiful and dearest husband. Bob is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Green of Lake Havasu City; son, Mark Green and his wife Beth of North Carolina and step-children, Zac Brewer, Jordan Brewer, Sergeant Andrea Strong of Utah and Joel Brewer, grandchildren, Heather, Peyton, Ezekiel and Izaiah. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother.
