Bonita Dawne Cross passed away April 7, 2008 in Lake Havasu City, AZ at the age of 77. She was born to Robert and Nora (Hand) Smith on February 11, 1931 in Irvine, TX.Bonita made Lake Havasu her home 4 years ago from Hemet, CA. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and was deeply involved with the California Thoroughbred Breeders Association. Bonita leaves behind her only daughter Victoria Ankrum of Hemet, CA; sister, Roberta Gatz of Hemet, CA; two grandchildren and significant other Juel Tyson of Lake Havasu.The family has requested donations be made in her name to the California Thoroughbred Breeders Association.Thoughts and condolences may be submitted to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.comArrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
