Ethel Virginia Jacobs, 86, passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2008 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. Ethel was born on October 22, 1921 in Wadena, Saskatchewan, Canada to Leonard and Catherine (Goodchild) Jacobs.Ethel moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; 35 years ago from Las Vegas, NV. She was active in the Lions and Lioness Clubs in Lake Havasu City, AZ; volunteered and was active in various charitable organizations. Ethel was also a member of the Lake Havasu Yacht Club and Lake Havasu Baptist Church.Ethel is survived by her sisters, Marge Hanson of Vista, CA; Catherine Harrower of Parksville, B.C., Canada; Lenora Phillips of North Vancouver, B.C., Canada and Donna Wilson of Courtney, B.C., Canada. She was preceded in death by her sister, Isabel Evans.No services are to be held.Her family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Ethel's name to Hospice of Havasu, P.O.
