Obituary of Robert WALKER

Robert "Bob" Henry Walker passed away April 24, 2008 in Las Vegas, NV at the age of 88. He was born to Daniel Hicks and Mary Louise (Moore) Walker on December 8, 1919 in Mt. Vernon, MO.Bob married Maxine Reece on October 1, 1960 and together they made Lake Havasu their home 8 years ago from Los Alamitos, CA. He was self employed in the oilfield services for 45 years in Long Beach, CA. He was a self taught mechanic and machinist. He was respected by all that knew him. He was a very kind, generous and trustworthy person.Bob was a wonderful family man who will be dearly missed by all that knew him. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 47 years, Maxine Walker; two sons, James (Carol) Walker and Charles (Serita) Walker; daughter, Becky Carter; nine grandchildren, Lori, Kathy, John, Kelly, Lisa, Danny, Phillip, Jeff and Richard; seventeen great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his son, Robert Walker, Jr.A visitation will be held Friday, May 2, 2008, 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Lietz-Fraze Chapel. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 3, 2008, 1:00 pm at Lietz-Fraze Chapel. Words of comfort and inspiration will be presented by Rev. Richard Rounds.
