Obituary of Robert MASERANG

Robert N. Maserang Sr., born March 29, 1939, passed away on Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at the age of 69. Robert was a well respected local craftsman. His first job in Lake Havasu was on the original London Bridge Pub and Restaurant. Other work can still be seen at various locations, such as the Island Fashion Mall, the gazebo outside the mall, Shugrues, McKee's Tavern, and hundreds of local residential homes in Lake Havasu City.Robert served his country proudly under the direction of the United States Army. He married his beloved bride, Colleen Boyd on February 4, 1961. He and his family moved to Lake Havasu in the summer of 1971 from St. Louis, MO.Robert leaves behind his loving wife of 47 years, Colleen Maserang of Lake Havasu; sons, Robert Jr. and David Lee Maserang of Lake Havasu; daughters in law, Charina and Beth; grandchildren, Jeffry, Nicole, Eric, Ethan and Kayla Rae; great grandchildren, Katlyn and Ean James; brothers, William Maserang of Springhill, FL and Russell Maserang of St. Louis, MO; sisters, Maxine Sullivan, Joan Maserang and Sandra Hicks, all of St. Louis, MO.He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Bertha (Ferkel) Maserang and two brothers, George and Larry Maserang.A memorial service will be held Friday, May 9, 2008, 5:00 PM at Lietz-Fraze Chapel.
