Obituary of Paula FIRTH

Paula Marie Firth, 53, passed away on Friday, May 2nd, 2008, peacefully at home, after a courageous 7 month battle with cancer. She was born on June 19, 1954 in Detroit, MI; to Richard and Margaret Firth and moved to Torrance, CA; as a child.Paula moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; in 1991 and worked at Havasu Regional Medical Center in the 90's and was also self-employed. She had a love for music, art, photography, traveling and was active in the Scottish Society. Paula also loved animals and gave to many shelters. She enjoyed quiet times with family and friends, and the furry members of her family. Paula was a member of St. Peter The Aleut Orthodox Christian Church in Lake Havasu City, AZ; and her faith and family there helped her greatly during her illness.Paula is survived by her loving friend and husband, Bill Hollenbach; daughter, Jennifer of Shakopee, MN; father, Richard of Torrance, CA; granddaughters, Wenonah and Hapana of MN; and uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret in 2000. Paula will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends, but she will always be near.A service by Father Peter Henry will be held at Lietz-Fraze Chapel on Saturday, May 10, 2008 at 11:00 a.m., followed by a celebration of her life at the home of her friend, Shirley Carey.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Paula to Hospice of Havasu, P.O.
