Jerome C. Halvorson, 86, passed away on May 9, 2008 at La Paz Regional Hospital in Parker, AZ. He was born on November 15, 1921 in Lamberton, MN.Jerome moved to Big River, CA; 9 years ago from Beaver Bay, MN. He worked as an engineer for Reserve Mining in Silver Bay, MN; for 30 years.Jerome is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Betty Jean Halvorson; sons, Eugene Halvorson and wife Cindy, John Hopkins and wife Maureen, Jerome Halvorson and wife Tracy, Brian Halvorson; daughters, Goleen Anderson and husband Larry, Barbara Novitske and husband Joel, Nancy Krull, Lisa Marely and husband Antonia; brothers, Laverne Halvorson, Kenneth Halvorson; sisters, Lucille Burt, Arlene Templeton, Marion Jensen; 26 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.Condolences and thoughts can be made to his family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.comArrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
