Delbert Dice Willsey "Del" passed away on October 10, 2015 at 72 years of age in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born on September 21, 1943 to Delbert and Mary Lou Willsey in Redlands, CA. He was wed to Tonia Jo Frontera on June 15, 1963 at the Angeles Wedding Chapel in Anaheim, CA. He shared 52 wonderful years with his wife.
Del was a motor head, a gamer and an adrenaline junkie. He loved to go fast. He had his pilot's license and he loved adventure. He was a heavy equipment operator and excellent provider for his family which caused him to have to work out of town frequently. He also liked to fly RC airplanes and take trips to the casino with his kids. He was very proud of his new, canary yellow Corvette.
Del is survived by his wife, Tonia Willsey, of Lake Havasu City; son, Steven Willsey of Lake Havasu City; daughters, Heather Hersam and Jennifer Faulkner (Darren) of Lake Havasu City; 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Delbert and Mary Lou Willsey; brother, DuWayne and sister, Debbie.
He was a wonderful husband, father and grandpa. He was a gentle giant and a truly great man. He will be deeply missed.
