Obituary of Dolores CASHEL

Dolores Jean Cashel passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2008 in Las Vegas, NV at the age of 73. Dee, as she was known to her family and friends was born on January 1, 1935 in Oregon City, OR to Dee Jasper and Winifred Josephine (Hamm) Hux.Dee and her husband, Glenn lived for many years in Casper, WY where Glenn worked as a police officer. Shortly after Glenn passed away on December 3, 1983, Dee moved to Phoenix where she lived for 7 years, then moved to Lake Havasu City 16 years ago. Dee was the executive director for the Drury Lane Repertory Players for 5 years.Dee loved playing Bridge and the many friends she made in the Bridge club. She also enjoyed the many hours she spent in her yard making sure her plants were well cared for. Being diabetic, Dee made the best sugar free cakes and pies. She will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure to know her. She was a wonderful person.Dee is survived by her mother, Winifred Hux of Lake Havasu City; son, Mitch Cashel of Casper, WY; daughter, Debra Cashel of Lake Havasu; brother, Walter Hux of Davis, OK; sister, Ellen J. McGraw of Fremont, CA; grandchildren, Travis, Aubrey, Colton and Jordan; one great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.Memorial services will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2008, 10:00 AM at Lietz-Fraze Chapel. Words of comfort and inspiration will be presented by Rev.
