LARRY GRISHAM
Larry Grisham lost his battle with cancer and passed away quietly early Saturday morning November 30, 2013. He was born in Gorman, TX on October 31, 1947 to J.D. Grisham and Fern Grisham. Larry was raised and graduated high school in Tyler, TX. He maintained close ties to his Texas friends and family.
He served in the U.S. Army 101st Airborne Division as an Air Traffic Controller. Larry first moved to Lake Havasu in 1968. Larry met his wife and life partner Lyn Grisham on the beach of Crazy Horse Campground which his parents managed. He was lured back to Texas where he started his real estate career with Elmer McLester and established McLester and Grisham Real Estate with 5 offices and a commercial investment office. He returned to Lake Havasu in 1990 and with his extensive background, experience, knowledge and passion practiced commercial and residential real estate, always looking for the absolute best for everyone.
Larry was well known in Havasu as an avid fisherman, The BBQ CEO, loved riding cutting horses and enjoyed playing poker with his pals. Larry lived his life with passion, heart and kindness.
Larry is survived by his wife and soulmate Lyn; brother Mike (Nancy) Grisham of Belton, TX and nephews Michael Loren Grisham (Lisa and daughter Kaylee) and James Austin Grisham. He was preceded in death by his mother Fern Grisham and sister Linda McCulloch.
