Charles J. Forbes, 65, passed away on June 19, 2008 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born on September 28, 1942 in San Francisco, CA; to Charles and Phyllis Forbes.Chuck moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; 8 years ago, after retiring from the Sonoma County Sheriff's Department in Santa Rosa, CA; where he served as a Deputy Sheriff for 32 of his 36-year law enforcement career. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Chuck was a member of the B.P.O.Elks 2399, where he volunteered with the spaghetti crew as well as he volunteered at the Interagency Food Bank. He was also a member of the Masons in Northern California.Chuck is survived by his devoted loving wife Joanie; loving son, Cory Myers; loving daughters, Jenna Smith, Trisha O'Connor; loving mother, Phyllis M. Forbes; and loving brothers, Martin and Walter Forbes. He was a beloved Papa to his grandchildren, Shailo 5, Elijah 3, and Asher l.Chuck's family and good friends will carry his memory forever in their hearts.
